The Spotswood, NJ facility is seeking individuals who can understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
We are looking for individuals who can complete assignments in a timely fashion; contribute to operational excellence; are self-driven and enjoy learning new skills; have a positive work attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills; are a team player and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Specific responsibilities include a mechanical aptitude.
Electrical experience in a high speed industrial manufacturing environment, preferred.
Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints.
Extensive knowledge of all electrical components.
PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
Basic knowledge of AC and DC drives.
Maintain and repair equipment unsupervised.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging equipment.
Perform routine and preventiative maintenance on all production line equipment.
Repair pumps and motors.
Assist in installation of plant equipment.
Maintain records.
Operate PIT, Tugger and Aerial Lift.
Candidate must be willing to work Night Shift (7p-7a) as well as Weekends.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED, 18 years or older, drug screen, health assessment, background and reference check.
International Paper will perform an AON Technical Operations Test.
